We have two types of pet sitting: Our first pet sitting type is 'In home pet sitting' with rates starting at $15/ day. This service is provided by Doug and Julie. Please call the store on a weekday before 3 for more information on this service. Please understand that we have the right to decline the opportunity to provide you with this service if we feel you have not given us adequate notice ahead of time, if we are unable to provide the amount of care needed or if what you need simply clashes with our schedule or current bookings
 Special Orders  Doug's Wild Side is a small locally owned retail store, however we have the ability to order just about any product for the care of your animals. We take great pride in filling our special orders quickly. It does not cost extra to special order a product. Please e-mail us , call us, or stop by the store and ask us to get what ever you want.  Educational Programs
Wild Side Pets, Inc. believes that children should be educated about and have exposure to animals before they take on the serious responsibility of having a pet. We offer a variety of services designed to educate children, available here in our store, in your classroom or other locations. We do educational talks about the Reef Aquarium in the HUB-Robeson Center on the Penn State Campus for multiple elementary classroms in the State College Area School District that are studying "Life Under The Sea". We can arrange a visit to our store for your school, pre-school, or day care. We can arrange to come to you. We will design a program specifically for the age group of children who will visit. You can come just for a tour of the store! Our educated and caring staff are waiting for you to e-mail us about our programs and services so we may set up one for you!  Aquarium Services
Wild Side Pets, Inc. offers a wide variety of professional aquarium services for your home or office aquarium. Allow us to help you design your aquarium and install it. We have been instrumental in assisting The Pennsylvania State University and the Class of 1999 set up and maintain the HUB Reef Aquarium, a world class display aquarium in the HUB-Robeson Center. We can do the same for you in your home, office, or school. We offer aquarium cleaning services for home and office too.
